The LA125 is an affordable semi-automatic label applicator for round bottles.
The benefits of using the LA125 label applicator include higher throughput, consistent positioning of the labels, and no fingerprints on transparent labels.
The LA125 is very easy to use. The operator simply places the bottle between the rollers, and either presses a switch on the panel or presses a foot switch. The label is then applied, and the operator removes the bottle.
Labels are typically applied within 1 or 2 seconds, depending on the length, and the overall throughput depends largely on the operator .
The LA125 has the ability to apply labels to a recessed area of a bottle using a custom roller, which is sized to fit the recessed area. An optional paper sensor, which detects the paper thickness allows the use of transparent, or other optically difficult material without having to use a black line on the backing sheet. This reduces the cost of the labels, and also allows printing processes which cannot perform double sided printing, to be used.
There is an optional take up unit which places the backing sheet back onto a reel. This provides a neat solution for backing sheet disposal, and would suit high volume users in particular.

LA125 options
Custom Roller | Used for labels that fit into a recess on the container, such as water bottles. Made to the width of the label, it presses the label onto the bottle in the recess. |
Backing sheet take-up spool | Rewinds the backing sheet onto another core as the labels are applied |
Extra width option | For extra long containers, the distance between the rails can be increased from 28cm to 32cm. The neck of the bottle may protrude over the rail, this option increases the distance from the base of the bottle to the top of the label. |
Label Thickness sensor | Allows the use of transparent labels, as the end of the label is detected by thickness, and not optical properties. |
Large roll holder | Allows rolls of labesl up to 30cm in diameter to be used. It also has a sophisticated label tension control |
